Description:
The SOLIDART program represents a social initiative based on the interest of enhancing understanding among Europe's young people about solidarity in times of crisis. Its aim is to involve young people from the 8 countries of the corporate structure, who live the crisis in different ways, using familiar ways of communication and expression such as ICT and artistic expression, to develop a multicultural discussion of current challenges in EU.
The project is based on 8 international events (one for each project partner) and intends to involve more than 450 participants. At each international event, relevant issues related to solidarity in times of crisis in Europe (Coronavirus crisis, climate change, migrant integration, economic crisis, refugee crisis, urban problems, demographic challenge, etc.) will be addressed. In this process, young people will play a key role, as the most important beneficiaries of the project. They will immediately create the results of the project that will represent creative ways of approaching European solidarity.
Expected results of the project are the improvement of communication and cooperation between the partners to promote and strengthen the participation of young people, the development of new political skills that will allow young people to participate in their local community as "EU citizens", the creation digital material and guide for disseminating these findings, information and practices.
