This is the second ancient theater of Larissa, used during the Roman period.
The Second Ancient Theatre is located at the junction of Labour Day and Major Velissariou streets west of A 'Ancient Theatre.
The scene is tripartite, with a preserved stone foundation reaching the height of 0.60 m. The scene's upper part would have been constructed by brick and its roof by wood. Behind it there is the scene's precinct, disclosed in length of 50,50 m. The theater's western passage has a length of 9 m., while its east passage is partly excavated, as most of it, is located under a modern street of the city.
The site is fenced and visited by arrangement with the 15th Ephorate of Prehistoric and Classical Antiquities.
