Description:

The objective of the project is to improve the local governance of the participating European municipalities, as well as to enhance the role of local public administrations in the integration of modern Europe and in their role of being close to their citizens.

The project will be divided into 8 international events (one for each project partner) and aims to directly involve more than 400 participants, and indirectly more than 25,000 reached people. Each project partner will organize a project international event involving local and regional participants, taking in advance collaboration with other local and regional related organizations or other local events in order to achieve a bigger project impact. Regarding the activities, the places will vary depending on each city.

The main target group of LocalEUCharter are the officials of the participating municipalities, political representatives of these municipalities in charge of managing the support measures linked to democratic life.
